Now it works semi-properly: both dropdowns have correct text but on expand show that still the first item is selected (e.g. cash) so this item (cash) goes into insertion.

Sorry, doesn't work still: opened New Transaction, chose a Payee from the list, Account is Cash still (first in the list).

On Android Payee dropdown on the Add Transaction page doesn't work same as on Web: choosing an item doesn't update the Account dropdown.
